The summit also saw the G7's endorsement of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), a transformative infrastructure initiative to enhance global connectivity. This project, seen as a strategic counterbalance to China's Belt and Road Initiative, showcases India's commitment to fostering economic integration and sustainable development.
