Defence ties are also robust, with Indian training teams in multiple African nations and significant contributions to UN Peacekeeping Missions. India's support for Africa's greater role in multilateral fora, participation in global alliances, and advancements in space technology further underscore the deepening India-Africa partnership.
EAM Jaishankar reaffirmed that Africa remains a top priority for India, emphasising a mutually beneficial and respectful relationship. As both regions look forward to the upcoming India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS IV), there is a clear path to deepening collaboration in education, technology, healthcare, and infrastructure.
